Miami Art Museum

 

Miami Art Museum presents a recent acquisition of 24 photographs by the only photographer granted right of entry into Ground Zero after the September 11, 2001 attack on the World Trade Center in New York City. After 9/11, the Ground Zero site in New York City was classified as a crime scene and only those directly involved in the recovery efforts were allowed inside. With the help of sympathetic officials, he managed to become the only photographer granted right of entry into Ground Zero.
