September DWNTWN Meet Your Neighbors and DWNTWN Art Days

The Downtown Miami Partnership and the Miami Downtown Development Authority are presenting the 24^th “Meet Your Neighbors!” social event at Mary Brickell Village on Thursday, September 6, 2012, from 5:30 to  8:00 pm. Enjoy the balmy Miami night in good company and style while getting to know Mary Brickell Village eateries, bars, and boutiques. Sip a beer at Fado or have a bite at Rosa Mexicano with friends. They’re just a few of the local restaurants and bars offering tastings and samples throughout the night while you enjoy live jazz music by the sultry and soulful Dee Dee Wilde Band.

“Meet Your Neighbors!” also kicks off DWNTWN Art Days, the first DWNTWN collective arts and culture experience. Breathe in Downtown Miami’s rich arts and cultural scene. One weekend will open up doors to exclusive exhibitions, art tours, artist open studios, and film screenings, including Miami International Film Festival’s ”Gerhard Richter Painting.” Take a bike tour, walk, or catch a ride on the dedicated trolley set aside for that weekend. You can become part of a surprise public performance or even play a game of kickball; there is an activity for every persuasion. Stop by DWNTWN Art Days from September 7 to 8 and see what living in DWNTWN Miami is really like.
