Traffic Alert: Presidential Visit in Downtown Miami

Notice from the City of Miami Police Department:

Please be advised that President Obama is scheduled to address Miami Dade College’s graduating class on Friday, April 29 in the evening, at the James L Knight Center.  There will be periodic street closures prior to his arrival and once again before he leaves the venue.

To avoid any traffic issues, which will be compounded by students, faculty, families and friends that will be attending, find alternate routes to SE 2nd Avenue and SE 2nd Street.  We suggest that you travel north on Biscayne Blvd, or use Flagler Street, NE 1st Street, N. Miami Avenue to exit the downtown area.
