About Teresa Valiente
For more than 25 years, Teresa Valiente has been helping clients buy, sell, and invest in South Florida real estate. Originally from São Paulo, Brazil, Teresa earned a degree in Business Administration from FAAP before moving to Miami over 30 years ago. Fluent in English, Portuguese, and Spanish, she brings an international perspective that resonates with Miami's diverse community.
Teresa began her career with Esslinger Wooten Maxwell Realtors (EWM) and quickly became recognized for her strong business skills and approachable personality. She went on to represent some of Miami's most prestigious developments, including Brickell Key II, Grand Bay in Key Biscayne, the Ritz-Carlton in Coconut Grove, and the Blue and Green Diamond in Miami Beach. In 2003, she joined the sales team at Metropolitan Miami during its preconstruction stage, where she played a key role in launching the Met 1 residential tower.
In 2010, Teresa founded Met Miami Properties, her boutique brokerage located inside Met 1. From this unique position, she has built a reputation as a leading authority on downtown Miami real estate. Clients value her deep market expertise, commitment to excellence, and genuine passion for helping people find the right home or investment.
